I. Origin
It starts in a backyard.
When a dog is treated as a commodity, welfare can become an afterthought.
They gave up. We didn’t.
I used to breed French Bulldogs. Now I help dogs left behind by the breeding trade find safety, veterinary care and a way forward. I cannot do it alone.
I stopped breeding French Bulldogs.
Today, my focus is rescue: getting vulnerable French Bulldogs out of harmful situations and into care.
Why I am asking now.
The mission
One rescue begins with one decision.
I have spent years helping French Bulldogs out of neglect and into veterinary care, often covering costs myself. Four dogs have already reached safety in this campaign. Our goal is to rescue 16 more by Christmas. We do not know which dogs will need us next, but together we can be ready when the next call comes.

The work is simple to describe and rarely simple to do: get the dog safe, understand what medical care is needed, and find the right next step. Every case is different.

Over the years, I have helped more than 200 French Bulldogs reach safety. The names and photographs matter more than a number: every dog had a life before rescue and a life afterward.
For a long time I asked for very little. Now I am asking for help with the rescues I cannot fund alone.

These are a few of the dogs I rescued. I did not take photos of most of them, so the 200+ are far more than this wall shows. Each dog here is real, and each one went home. The ones without a picture matter just as much.

I donated because @frenchie.world was one of the very few large Frenchie pages that was willing to share Chrome and Noire’s MISSING flyers and posts without ever asking me for a dime.
Of course, I paid other large pages that asked because I was desperate to get their faces out there and bring my babies home, but Aleksandar’s support was different. It was genuine, compassionate, and came from the heart, and I’ll never forget that.

I truly believe every dog deserves access to medical attention, proper care, and the opportunity to recover peacefully and go on to live a long, happy life filled with love, adventures, and beautiful memories.
Free wheelchairs
Free wheelchairs for disabled dogs.
We are always giving them to disabled Frenchies, and to other dogs too. We also give elbow braces, paw braces and Elizabethan collars.
Equipment availability and delivery are assessed case by case.
Why this work is needed. Every dog deserves care beyond its market value.
II. The colour trade
A fashionable coat should never matter more than a healthy dog.
Demand for unusual appearances cannot justify poor breeding decisions or neglect.
III. Markup
A high price is not proof of good welfare.
Behind every sale is a living animal whose needs do not end at the transaction.
IV. Paperwork
Fake papers. Puppies sold too young.
Illegal puppy trading can involve animals moved too young and records that do not tell the truth. Responsible rescue starts by putting the dog first.
V. The breed
When a French Bulldog goes missing, every credible lead matters.
Lila is still missing. We are looking for information, not jumping to conclusions.

Lila is missing.
Female French Bulldog, 1.5 years old, microchipped. Dark brindle with a white patch on her chest.
She went missing on Thursday, September 3rd, from her fenced yard around 6 AM, near the Bosnian border. She is on medication and a special diet.
Lila has not been found. We are grateful for any credible information about where she may be.
